Resolution Skills Center offers training programs locally, nationally and internationally. Through individual courses, certificate programs, and customized training for the workplace RSC can help you gain skills in conflict resolution, leadership, and mediation.

Designed for experiential learners, courses are taught through a combination of lecture, stories, discussion, exercises, case study and role plays.

Effective Leadership in Conflict

May 30-31, 2016

This workshop assists those in leadership to step back and effectively analyze the nature and patterns of conflict within their organization, so they can recommend an appropriate course of action and enact decisions that will have sustainable results. Participants will gain tools to assess and monitor issues and dynamics within their team and within the broader organization. They will also develop their ability to discern the most appropriate response to challenges that arise.

High Stakes Conversations

June 14-15, 2016

Sometimes the outcome of a conversation can have significant repercussions. Knowingly entering these conversations can be stressful, and effectively navigating them can be difficult. Participants in this course develop skills to transform differences, tension and conflict into effective communication. They will have opportunities to practice these skills in scenarios that reflect conversations or relationships they are currently dealing with at home, at work or in the community.

Prerequisite: Intro to Conflict Resolution: Difficult People
